This term our Senior School Key Competency focus is “Relating to Others”.
Edgewater 3 students have worked together to plan which “Headway” learning units they would like to study. We have picked two units to study. We chose:
Headway Leisure: Keep Fit
Headway Life Skills: Health & Hygiene

Our other Topics this term include learning about Google Docs on our Chromebook Computers, The  Treaty of  Waitangi and The Cricket World Cup.

The students are now working individually with staff to identify some “Personal Goals” and next week we will start talking with Kevin and the Sommerville Therapy Team to identify the best 2015 I.E.P (Individual Educational Plan) goals.

After meeting with the Sommerville Therapists Kevin would like to meet with families to discuss your students’ progress and to hear your ideas about the 2015 I.E.P goals. We will send an invitation/appointment form home soon.

Every Day = Fitness – Please bring/wear a T Shirt for morning fitness.
