An event designed to inspire senior students (Y7 to Y13) and to promote the depth of creative culture and ideas in Aotearoa.
WEDNESDAY 21 JUNE SHED 1 CORBAN ESTATE ARTS CENTRE
Insight, learning strategies, entrepreneurial ideas and inspiration for students with a dream of working creatively - featuring practitioners from a diversity of disciplines:

CORA-ALLAN WICKLIFFE - multi-disciplinary artist / curator
JERMAINE REIHANA - visual artist
NATASHA KEATING - visual artist
LOUISE POTIKI-BRYANT - choreographer / dancer / video artist
AMIRIA PUIA-TAYLOR - artist / curator / facilitator / youth worker
JANINE WILLIAMS - urban artist
NGA PUNA O WAIOREA - kapa haka roopu |

Each speaker will perform or present 20 images and speak to each image for 20 seconds, offering insight into their influences and motivations. This fast-paced presentation is followed by a Q&A session giving opportunity for the audience to get feedback on their own ideas and aspirations.
Students will then be able to mingle and chat with the speakers around fried bread and refreshments. |
